Danny McGill – Director
Danny has over 20 years of experience in the pensions industry and is Managing director of Newcourt Pensioneer Trustees Ltd. During this time, Danny has developed extensive technical expertise in all areas of pension planning.
Danny holds a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and has also obtained the internationally recognised Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. He holds a Certificate in Pensions and Applied Trusteeship from the Law Society of Ireland, is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA), a Pension Trustee Practitioner (PTP) and is a Revenue approved Pensioneer Trustee.
Ed Rafferty – Senior Business Development Manager Dublin, North East and North West
Ed has over 25 years’ experience in financial services in Ireland. During this period Ed has gained extensive knowledge of the life and pensions industry.
He is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and holds a Masters in Financial Services (MSc) from UCD. In addition he holds the internationally recognised Certificate in Financial Planning (CFP®) designation.
Mark Kenny – Senior Business Development Manager Munster
Mark has 28 years’ experience in the Life & Pensions market, which includes 5 years in the UK. Mark has worked closely with the broker market during his time as an Account Manager and then Regional Manager for New Ireland Assurance Company, where he was responsible for business development in the South West and South East.
Mark is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and a Fellow of the Life Association of Ireland (FLIA), and a Retirement Planning Advisor (RPA). He also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Cork Institute of Technology (MBS) and a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) from Waterford Institute of Technology. In addition he holds the Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and has also obtained the internationally recognised Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, a Diploma in Taxation from the Irish Tax Institute and is a qualified Pension Trustee Practitioner (PTP).
Willie Burns – Senior Business Development Manager Midlands and West Coast
Willie joined Newcourt in January 2019 and has worked in the pensions industry for over 35 years and thus has a wealth of experience. His career commenced with Norwich Union in 1983 working in Dublin City Centre and then was promoted to Area Manager for the Midlands/Limerick where he was solely responsible for new and existing business under the umbrella of the Aviva Group.
Over his working life Willie has attained extensive technical expertise in all areas of Financial Planning working with professionals such as accountants, financial brokers, stock brokers and solicitors. Willie is a graduate of UCD and holds the QFA designation.
